The Volant Pro5 closed-box air intake for 1997–2002 Ford Expedition 4.6L V8 replaces the stock intake with a sealed design that increases airflow and protects the filter from underhood heat. It uses a Pro5 5-layer oiled cotton gauze filter supplied pre-oiled for immediate use. The kit includes a closed filter box, air duct, connectors and clamps, installs in about an hour, and is washable and reusable for extended intervals.
