The Cometic .018in AFM intake manifold gasket for Toyota 2JZ-GE engines seals the intake manifold to the cylinder head, preserving intake vacuum and preventing air or coolant leaks in around-manifold junctions. It provides a thin, consistent sealing surface where intake runners meet the head.
