The AIRAID PowerAid throttle body spacer for 1996–2000 Chevy/GMC C/K 454 Vortec applications uses a patented Helix Bore to create a spinning airflow through the throttle body spacer, boosting air velocity and improving atomization of the air/fuel mixture. That action is engineered to increase off-idle torque from roughly 800 rpm to about 3,000 rpm. The spacer is a bolt-on upgrade with included mounting hardware and installs with common hand tools.
