The Wilwood D8-6 front caliper kit for 1965–1982 Corvette C2/C3 swaps directly for OE calipers and uses Type III hard-anodized forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless pistons, and high-temp seals to improve longevity and performance. Six-piston clamping power yields stronger braking with weight savings; kits include DOT stainless braided lines and high-friction Promatrix pads. Note that some 1965–66 steel wheels and certain replicas may need a 3/16" or wider spacer.
