The EBC titanium brake pad shim for Alcon H Type (RC4463/39) front pads is laser-cut, perforated titanium sized 114x43mm. Supplied to fit the specified pad profile, these shims reduce conductive heat transfer and can be reused when pads are replaced unless damaged. EBC recommends shims as a measure to limit heat reaching caliper seals, which are at risk above roughly 130°C/270°F.
