The Wilwood SRP drilled performance rotor uses a directional cross-drill and face slot layout to improve pad response and braking feel from light to heavy inputs. Drilled holes and slots vent and clean the pad surface, dispersing heat and gases while reducing pad glazing and uneven compound buildup. The removed material also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung weight for crisper initial engagement and pedal response.
