The Ford Racing ring and pinion installation kit for 8.8-inch 10-bolt rears includes pinion and carrier shims, a crush sleeve, pinion nut and seal, plus ring gear bolts to simplify gear replacement. Supplied as genuine Ford components, the kit fits 8.8-inch axles from 1986–2014 and is intended to provide the parts required for a proper ring-and-pinion install when new bearings aren’t needed.
