The UMI billet aluminum short shifter for 1979–2004 Ford Mustang is CNC machined from T6 6061 and bolts to common shifter bases including T5, T45, Pro 5.0 and Steeda. It repositions the shifter for a more comfortable hand placement and a quicker, more positive shift feel. The handle accepts stock and aftermarket knobs, installs in about 10 minutes with included bolts and washers, and ships with a bright machined finish.
