This BD Diesel billet steel threaded adapter replaces the brittle plastic mount used to attach a spin-on filter to the 68RFE transmission. Machined for durability, the adapter provides a stronger mounting point for aftermarket spin-on filters and is intended as a direct replacement for the original plastic piece to reduce risk of failure during filter service.
