The Stage 5 package brings rollerized thrust elements, a new valve body, drilled intermediate shaft and billet input to resist snap from rapid throttle and high torque, plus upgraded governor components. It also includes BD’s heavy‑duty pan with added oil capacity, auxiliary full‑flow filter options, extra clutch material and machined pressure plates and pistons to increase line pressure and handle substantially more power than the stock transmission.
