The BD Diesel 48RE transmission kit for 2004.5–2007 Dodge 4WD with TVV stepper motor combines reinforced internals and support components for towing and high-load use. It features rollerized thrust bearings, revised oil circuits, heavier clutches, upgraded governor components and a rigid aluminum pan with heat-dissipating fins. The kit is dyno-tested and commonly supplied with BD’s auxiliary full-flow filter.
