The OMIX heater/defroster cable replaces the original control for 1978–1983 CJ5, 1978–1986 CJ7 and 1981–1986 CJ8 Scrambler models. The 21-inch cable includes an interior control knob and a gold/yellow tip, and it replaces OE 5463655. It operates the heater valve from the dash and installs as a direct-fit OE‑style part, designed for straightforward replacement and backed by a limited five-year warranty.
