The COMP Cams cam and lifter kit contains a camshaft, lifters, assembly lube, decals and installation instructions for performance installs. Intended for street/strip builds with about 9.5:1 compression, it benefits from an aftermarket intake and headers, a 3000+ RPM stall converter and 4.10 or numerically higher gears. The cam produces a notably rough idle in exchange for increased high-rpm power.
