The COMP Cams Xtreme Energy camshaft delivers quicker valve opening and more lift area than older grinds to improve responsiveness and area under the curve. It raises torque and horsepower while retaining usable vacuum for power brakes and accessories. Works well on carbureted engines but performs best with an aftermarket intake, lower gears, headers and free-flowing exhaust. Suited to street cars with 9:1+ compression and 2200+ stall.
