The COMP Cams CS 272Tl-6 camshaft is a short-track race grind for smaller 327–350 ci engines and is intended for tight 1/4 to 3/8 mile tracks with tight corners. It carries the SBC caveat that 1955–1957 models have an oiling groove in the rear journal so listed part numbers may not fit; contact the supplier for a proper cam with the groove if needed. Best used with appropriate track-specific setups.
