The COMP Cams CS 308A-R7 camshaft is a small-block Chevy profile tuned for 311–355 ci engines with an open carb, performing well on road courses where sustained rpm and throttle response matter. It provides a balanced powerband suited to track driving. 1955–57 SBCs with a rear-journal oiling groove will not accept the listed part numbers. Use only melanized or nitrided distributor gears; untreated cast or steel gears are incompatible and may void warranties.
