The Edelbrock Performer RPM camshaft for Ford 429–460 V‑8 applications is a hydraulic flat‑tappet cam and lifter kit built to deliver streetable high‑rpm power from about 1,500 to 6,500 rpm. When tested with Edelbrock intake and heads it produced 506 hp and 536 ft‑lbs on a 460. Hydraulic lifters come with the kit and the cam is matched to Performer RPM manifolds to increase top‑end output while retaining usable low‑end torque.
