This Eagle forged H-beam connecting rod is made from 4340 steel and is specified for VW/Audi VR6 applications. Forged from a two-piece forging, each rod is fully machined and shot-peened with tight sizing tolerances; ARP 2000-compatible 5/16" bolt provision is noted. These rods are offered with specified weights on order and are recommended for competition or high-stress rebuilds where forged components are required.
