The Cometic Ford C6 .060in AFM transmission oil pan gasket (17-bolt) is made from chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core to provide a durable seal between oil pan and block. AFM material offers about 85% recovery and strong torque retention, resists temperatures above 205°F, and does not require sealants or re-torquing. It's designed to seal the oil pan to the engine block as a direct-fit replacement.
