The Cometic AFM oil pump gasket kit for Mitsubishi 6G72 DOHC (1991–2000) uses chemically blown, compounded nitrile rubber bonded to an aluminum core for temperature resistance above 250°F and strong torque retention. AFM material offers about 85% recovery and does not require gasket sealers or re-torquing. Cometic validates gasket quality through in-house dyno and assembly testing.
