The Edelbrock Performer cylinder head for 1987-2006 Jeep 4.0L inline-six engines is a bolt-on upgrade that improves intake and exhaust flow with modern combustion chambers and swirl-polished valves for stronger midrange power. It retains stock valve angle, pushrod length and valve-cover bolt pattern while adding reinforced rocker bosses and Helicoil inserts. This head uses 1991-2006 intake port location and 1991-1998 exhaust port size, so it requires a 1991-2006 intake manifold and a 1991-1998 exhaust manifold, and aftermarket headers can be used instead of 1999-2006 OEM exhaust manifolds.
