The Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet cylinder head assembled with dual valve springs is a redesigned 429 Cobra Jet head with revised valve angles and repositioned valves plus updated combustion chambers to reduce cylinder wall shrouding and improve flow. It uses the same valves, springs, retainers and 7/16 in. stud-mounted roller rockers as current Cobra Jet heads, and standard Cobra Jet intake and exhaust manifolds bolt on. Depending on displacement and camshaft, this design yields a 25–50 HP increase over current Cobra Jet heads.
