JE Pistons Chrome silicon wire lock .708 x .050 is a wrist pin retainer supplied individually for use with compatible pistons and chamfered wrist pins. Wire locks spread side loads across the pin boss and offer strong pin retention compared with spiro locks. Hook wire locks resist rotation; tru-arc locks are easier to install and reusable, though tru-arc is recommended for lower horsepower applications per JE guidance.
