JE Pistons chrome-silicon wire lock wrist pin retainers provide strong pin retention by spreading side loads over more of the piston pin boss and are supplied in 0.787" diameter with 0.050" lock thickness. Wire locks require chamfered wrist pins and are often chosen for their higher retention strength; hook wire locks include an integrated hook to prevent rotation while Tru-arc locks offer easier installation and reusability for lower-horsepower applications.
