JE Ultra Series forged pistons for the Subaru EJ25 (8.5:1) are built using JE’s proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging process for enhanced tensile strength in high-boost or high-RPM environments. The set includes features such as thermal barrier crown coating, skirt coating, optimized pin oiling and lateral gas ports to help maintain ring seal. High-strength wrist pins are included and the pistons are manufactured in the USA.
