JE Pistons forged 8-cylinder flat-top piston kit with a 4.040 in. bore, 1.250 in. CD and a -1.8 cc displacement for certain small-block applications. Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum and matched to specific engine requirements, these pistons incorporate JE's Forged Side Relief (FSR) to reduce skirt drag. Depending on application, kits may include an accumulator groove and skirt coating to improve ring control, reduce wear and lower noise.
