The JE Pistons BBC .470 dome piston kit is a set of eight forged pistons for Big Block Chevrolet applications and demanding environments. Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these pistons employ JE's Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to lower skirt width and friction; accumulator grooves and skirt coatings on many applications help improve ring seal and reduce wear. Specified for a 4.625 in. bore with a 1.120 in. dome (40.0 cc).
