This COMP Cams set includes twelve hardened lash caps sized for 5/16" valve stems with a .190" overall head height and .080" thickness. Precision machined and ground flat, the caps protect the valve stem tip from pounding in high-RPM engines with aggressive cam profiles and help maintain accurate valve-train adjustment. They are serviceable and fit valve stems cleanly for reliable tip protection.
