The COMP Cams ID locator spring seat replaces older shims with a thin hardened steel seat that protects the head and shim while locating the spring with an inboard shoulder. That locating shoulder centers the seat and secures the spring. The 4776 measures 1.550" OD and .570" ID and is specified to work with COMP dual springs like the 928, 944, 26089 and 955 for compatible valve setups.
