COMP Cams ID spring locator is a hardened steel inboard-shoulder seat that centers and secures valve springs while protecting the cylinder head and shim under extreme spring pressures and high RPM. Replacing older external cup shims that required extensive head machining, the 4783 locator measures 1.540" OD and .640" ID and fits COMP dual springs such as 924, 925 and 939.
