The Edelbrock valve spring retainers for BB Chevy E-Street and related hydraulic heads are machined steel parts heat-treated for strength and finished in black oxide to resist corrosion. They are intended for use with 5745 and 5823 valve springs, require 11/32" valve stems and 7-degree locks, and are supplied as a set for full-valve-train assembly during head builds or spring upgrades.
