The Akrapovic Evolution Link Pipe Set in stainless steel is a replacement link pipe for BMW M340i (G20, 2020) and M440i (G22, 2021) models equipped with an OPF, intended for track use. Constructed from high-grade austenitic stainless steel and weighing 8.09 kg—about 22% lighter than stock—the link pipe uses a tuned resonator to deliver a deep, rich straight-six sound with minimal drone. Akrapovic testing with a Slip-On Line showed power and torque gains; remapping is mandatory and this product is not emissions-compliant for street use.
