The Stainless Works 2-1/2" x 8" flex joint is made from 304 stainless steel with interlocked internal braid and formed stainless ends. It’s intended to isolate vibration and permit thermal expansion in exhaust systems, making it suitable for higher-temperature and turbocharged applications. For a secure, long-lasting fit and proper performance, the joint is recommended to be welded in place.
