The BD Diesel exhaust brake for 2011–2016 Ford 6.7L applications uses BD's Variable Orifice Technology and a solid offset stainless butterfly to deliver consistent retarding power across the RPM range, rated to provide up to 150 retarding horsepower. Rugged cast‑iron housings, alumibronze bushings, piston ring seals and a stainless steel butterfly shaft are specified for durability in the exhaust environment. Many kits include an IP67 sealed air compressor and all mounting hardware.
