The BD Diesel exhaust brake for 3.5-inch exhaust systems is a remote-mount, air-actuated unit using Variable Orifice Technology to provide up to 150 retarding horsepower across the engine RPM range. Included components cover valve assembly, air tubing, adapter, toggle switch, regulator, control assembly, an IP67-sealed air compressor and mounting hardware. Rugged cast-iron housing, alumibronze bushings, piston ring seals and a stainless steel butterfly shaft help the brake endure harsh exhaust heat and corrosion.
