The BD Diesel exhaust brake for 4.0-inch exhaust systems with included air compressor uses BD’s Variable Orifice Technology to provide up to 150 retarding horsepower across the RPM range. This air-actuated, remote-mount unit is intended to improve vehicle control during heavy loads or descents. The kit includes valve assembly, air tubing, adapter, toggle switch, regulator, control assembly, mounting hardware and a sealed air compressor. Durable cast-iron housing, alumibronze bushings, piston ring seals and a stainless steel butterfly shaft resist heat and corrosion.
