The aFe Twisted Steel 2½" HDR X-pipe for BMW M3 (E46) 2001–2006 L6-3.2L S54 is mandrel-bent from 304 stainless steel to maximize exhaust flow and corrosion resistance. Its mitered-merge X design balances pulses to minimize drone and improve scavenging; systems are hand TIG-welded and include quality gaskets for a direct bolt-on fit. In-house dyno testing with the matched exhaust showed gains up to +13 hp and +20 lb·ft.
