The AutoMeter direct-fit gauge mount for 1978–1981 Malibu, El Camino and Monte Carlo adapts those GM dashboards to hold larger instrumentation while preserving the original dash profile. It fits directly into the existing openings. The panel supports two 5" gauges and four 2‑5/8" gauges, allowing a six-gauge arrangement to display key engine and vehicle readings in a cohesive layout.
