The Edelbrock Max-Fire distributor for Chevy 262–502 V8 engines (excluding tall deck blocks and 348/409) is a ready-to-run upgrade that replaces points-style distributors with a simple three-wire hookup. CNC-machined components, an upper sealed roller bearing and long lower Oil-Lite bushing provide smooth operation, while the high-output magnetic pickup and large reluctor deliver a strong trigger signal at higher RPM. Each unit ships complete with cap, rotor and advance kit.
