NGK MOD ignition coils for Acura ILX and Honda Civic and Accord models are engineered with custom primary and secondary windings to raise output compared with standard coils. They feature PET housings, premium vacuum-sealed epoxy resin and high-temperature silicone COP boots for improved dielectric strength and insulation. NGK developed and validated these coils in an ISO 17025 lab and recommend pairing them with NGK plugs.
