The H&R 60mm I.D. race spring, 80mm long with a 5 N/mm (29 lbs/in) rate, is made from lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel for reduced weight and improved travel. H&R's materials and manufacture allow thinner wire and about 10% more travel than comparable springs. These race springs are pre‑blocked at the factory to avoid setting or sagging and are offered in many lengths and rates for precise suspension tuning in demanding motorsport and street‑tuned applications.
