UMI's convertible weld-in tubular subframe connectors for 1993–2002 GM F-Body add eight welding points across the chassis to tie front and rear subframes and stiffen the car. The design tucks tight against the floor to maintain ground and exhaust clearance and is constructed from DOM mild steel tubing with machined mounting plates. A bolt-in hardware option is available for temporary installation without welding.
