The BAKFlip MX4 (GEN 3) hard folding truck bed cover for 2002–2020 Ram 1500 / 2003–2024 2500/3500 8ft beds presents a reinforced alloy and aluminum construction with high-density polymer cores that increase panel strength by roughly 22% over earlier models. Re-engineered automatic latching and upgraded lock components improve security while revised EPDM seals enhance weather protection. The matte-black, low-profile design sits flush with bed rails, folds toward the cab for full bed access, supports substantial evenly distributed weight and includes improved drain and tailgate sealing features.
